many times while trying to load a website I get an error or site doesn't load properly. it is only after many restarts of the particular tab that the site load properly. What can I do to fix it?
I'm thinking it may be an addon I'm using although I haven't installed any recently.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Also make sure that the firewall isn't causing problems.
I'm afraid the problem persists. Really slow loading, then the pages don't load correctly. My internet connection is fine though when I'm downloading I get pretty high speed for my area.
Did you check the firewall?
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
