The second step for authentication does not work. I receive the codes on my cell phone but when the codes are entered, the sign-in process does not complete.

Most codes and authentication systems rely on time frames. When you see confirmation codes, there is usually a time frame at the bottom of the email that states how much time you have to enter the code. Make sure the codes have not expired. if the issue persists, clear the cache data of whatever device you are using, as sometimes it might be interfering with the process.
