My USP device for Logitech mouse keeps malfunction after downloading 10, so I went back to firefox 8, and its still malfunctioning.

My system is Home Premium Windows Vista 4 GB Memory This is on my laptop Gateway

I tried fixes but nothing helps.

USP ??

Do you mean USB (Universal Serial Bus)?
If so, it that a USB wired mouse or a USB wireless mouse?
Are you plugging it in after Firefox is opened?
If so, try pluggin it in and then opening Firefox.
