None of my add-ons are working, yet I cannot disable or reinstall any of them.

Running Firefox version 3.6.25. Problems began after downloading the latter two of the below mentioned extensions this evening (both video downloaders, and both of which are incompatible with the Firefox version I'm running). When I attempt to disable or uninstall them, I do not see the button to restart Firefox to implement the uninstallation.

I have upgraded to Firefox 9, rolled back to a previous version, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Tried to troubleshoot, and Windows cannot open the folder I need to delete the two addons that I think might be the root of the problem. There's nothing left to do but completely uninstall Firefox and all the customizations and bookmarks I've been saving for years.  :-(

Thanks for any help........I'm at a dead end.

Wow.........finally got it figured out.........all I had to do was delete a few corrupt files, and all is well again. Ugh........those video download extensions were *bad news*. Almost 3 am here on the West Coast........I can finally wipe the tear stains off my glasses and go to bed.

For anyone who ends up with error code 203 after downloading some bad sh*t, see this page:
