That is a question for Google which created the Google Toolbar, and is now a dead project for Firefox 5 and beyond.

Thanks. I figured it was a Google problem. I tried Firefox 5 and it bollixed up too much other stuff so I went back to 4.1, which works, which does what I need, and I'm happy. Apparently Google Auto-Fill has deserted us forever. Drat.
