why will it not printout everytime requested

Example: I go to a website - then select a part/or all of it to be printed. I get a blank page except for the header. I then go to IE9/or Chrome - same website - same article and I get the required printout with NO problem. The frustrating thing is that some items do print OK (ie an item I have written to notepad). Have you any suggestions - PLEASE.
