reload and back button sometimes disabled

Back Button intermittently disabled Sometimes I will do a Google search and once I follow a link I cannot go back to the original search results. This happens intermittently and I cannot figure out the steps I've taken to reproduce the results. Happens sometimes when I use the search bar, sometimes when I use the search directly in Google.

Reload Button intermittently disabled Again, this happens intermittently and I cannot figure out the steps I've taken to reproduce the results. The reload button is greyed out and F5 does not reload the page as it does on other tabs, even if it is the same site in a different tab. It does work if I right click on the tab and choose "reload". As a web editor I use the F5 button a lot and find this really frustrating.

I noticed this happening about a week ago when I updated to FF 3.6.(something). I went to Mozilla to see if this was a bug and saw FF4RC. Downloaded/installed and the problem persists. I just installed the official FF4 and the problem persists still.

Any help would be appreciated.

I solved the problem for myself by disabling McAfee SiteAdvisor Add-in. This was based on the following article which is similar in content and suggested that: http://support.mozilla.com/ast/questions/806597
