
Bank sign-in page appears to have been hijacked, how to proceed?
My bank sign-in page seems to have been hijacked on Firefox. Says my online ID is incorrect and asks for social sec. number. Contacted bank and confirmed online ID. Am able to log-in through Explorer, but prefer Firefox. I've been told to uninstall and re-install Firefox, must I delete all personal info. including bookmarks to get rid of this problem? thank you.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Thank you. Should I also uninstall/reinstall Firefox, or do I just need to do those two operations?
one more question in addition to the previous: can I back up my bookmarks somehow?
found out how to save bookmarks....cleared cache and specific cookies...thanks!
