I can't type a URL into the location bar. When I type into the location bar, no text appears. When I copy a URL and paste to the location bar, nothing appears there. The problem just started today.

This can be caused by an incompatible/malfunctioning add-on. Try the procedures in the troubleshooting extensions and themes article.
