Why is Thunderbird not always getting each SMTP (if STD) server to deliver to random recipients?

Benjamin_Minney

Thunderbird 156 wanted to keep getting a response that my business associate's email account did not exist. I had to have the recipient contact me to get Thunderbird to successfully deliver the email I first sent and responded to. Is this not some Java bug to the domain?

I do not understand your question - please restate it. Thunderbird doesn't "want" responses. I don't know what Java bug you're referring to. Thunderbird is merely the agent that sends messages to your email service and they take care of sending it on to the recipient. It also relays responses such as non-delivery notices from your email service to you - it does not generate them.

If you see any error messages, please quote them precisely and in full. Screen shots would suffice.
