Cards view is showing the recipient instead of the sender for one of my accounts

kbrunsting

I'm currently on Thunderbird 155 and previously I just had one email account configured and cards view was working fine. However, after adding an additional email account (gmail), which displays fine, my original account is now showing my name in the cards view, instead of the sender. I've tried clearing the cache, repairing the inbox, but that didn't fix it. If I switch to table view its fine, I see the column for "From", although the new account displayed "Correspondents" instead of From, but I switched them to using From to make them consistent. Still not showing correctly for the original account.

In the results change the "show only display name for people in my address book" to unchecked and see if that helps.

If it does help, fix your address book entry that was making the results you saw wrong.

Doing that just changes from showing my name to my email address, but it should be showing the senders email address, not mine.
