Firefox browser breaks too many sites lately.
I am unable to access even my regular haunts, quite often lately. Sometimes I'm able to access the site by taking Enhanced Tracking Protection off, but oftentimes not. I need to use Edge!!! And I get the message "The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem." I have gotten that message AT BANKING SITES. It's become too annoying. Tried adding exceptions, to no avail.

That usually means "something" is trying to poke its nose in your secure connections (and fails to cover up its steps afterwards). A router with "security" features, a VPN with unwanted extras or "free, supported by advertising" injecting things where it shouldn't, or most of antivirus/phishing/malware protections basically act as the man–in–the–middle and decrypt your traffic breaking this trust.
If you can, disable any "safe web" or "https scanning" features of your security products, to see if it improves for you.
Thanks JBR; makes sense. I was a bit fixated on browser settings. There are so many Firefox updates I always think one of them has done it, but it could be my security suite. Will check it out.
