Tabbing from URL box to search box should NOT highlight the search engine dropdown
- Enable the search box to the right side of URL box in browser UI.
- Open new tab (empty URL box).
- Press TAB.
- The search engine SELECTOR becomes highlighted, instead of the search INPUT.
- Web application software developer is blocked from typing search query right away.
- Must press ANOTHER TAB.
- This breaks the workflow. It never used to do this, you could type immediately after tabbing ONCE.
- Search is disabled in URL box to facilitate local domain resolution/error and NOT trigger fallback searching.
Please revert the behaviour to normal, and make the single TAB operation focus on the search INPUT.
