I totally get your frustration I went through the same struggle moving my Firefox profile to a new Android phone. Sadly, Firefox Android doesn’t currently have a built-in full local backup for things like addon settings (especially uBlock Origin filters), so adb and Sync both miss some data. Here’s what worked best for me without rooting or touching the cloud: Export your uBlock Origin settings manually before migration: Open uBlock Origin → Settings → “Back up to file.” Save that file somewhere safe (like your downloads or Google Drive temporarily). On your new phone, install Firefox and uBlock Origin, then use “Restore from file.” Manually copy bookmarks and open tabs using Firefox Sync, but skip passwords or logins if you prefer not to use cloud. For saved logins, use Autofill export from your Android system if you had it synced with Google or a password manager it’ll save a lot of time re-logging in. Unfortunately, full migration (including local sessions and cache) isn’t supported yet on Android due to sandbox restrictions. Hopefully Mozilla adds local profile export in future versions a lot of us have requested it. This method at least keeps your extensions and filters intact without root or cloud dependency.
