Or start up in safe modus.

Repair folder 1.Click on the defect folder ,properties>repair folder>then click repair folder. Delete inbox.msf files. 2.profilefolder>delete inbox.msf files>restart thunderbird. Select other view. 3. use the configuration for the message pane visible : view>layout>message pane.
