Signature not added to replies or forwarding messages
I've installed the latest desktop version of Thunderbird to evaluate. The signature is added only for new messages and not included when replying or forwarding a message. I've tested the signature with both plain text and html signature - both doesn't work as expected. I've also tried pasting the html code in the input field and attaching it as a file. Is this an intentional omission of functionality or I'm I missing something? I'm attaching my account settings interface.
Chosen solution
is the sig still just the word 'testing' - maybe you should put more text there to ensure visibility post a screenshot of your composition&addressing pane Also, write a one line message to yourself, then reply to it, and then do screenshot of the full reply to yourself. That should help.

check your setting at account settings for the account and click 'composition&addressing' as you need to set that to have sig appear where desired.
Thank for your reply. The latest version doesn't match your description - see screenshot - it only has composition, with no option to set signatures.
Please review suggestion - go to account settings - highlight the account - click composition&addressing
That is what I've done and I tried it again, highlighting the account as per your suggestion. There is only a composition option, not composition and addressing and there is no option to set signatures. I downloaded the software two days ago, so presumably it's the latest version and that functionality appears to have been omitted.
NO. You are not looking at the account. click account settings highlight the account in left side THEN, look at left side of screen; you should see - server settings - copies & folders - composition & addressing - junk settings
CLICK the composition&addressing
I see what you mean, I was looking at the global settings. I've adjusted the account settings now, but the signature is still not included when replying or forwarding.
