Recently Thunderbird has started to reject sending of emails because of "possible spam content" when the messages clearly do not contain spam nor have an attachment. They do include text and numbers. What do I need to do?

Thunderbird is just a program on your computer. It does not reject sending of emails because of 'possible spam content' - it is not a server. Thunderbird does not check your emails.

It is more likely, that either the server you are using to send emails is blocking you OR the recipient's server does not like the email and so refuses to receive it. Servers do have special filters that scan all emails that pass through servers looking for spam. It maybe because your computer IP address has been flagged as sending spam or the sending server IP address. It could be because someone has abused your email address to send spam and that flagged up your email address. You could check IP and email address to see if they are ok. https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx https://check.spamhaus.org/

Or the Content is very spam-like and is triggering server spam filters - if you have a load of links or remote content in images (eg: images copied from the internet), filter may think it looks like spam.
