Mozilla VPN keeps crashing when I try to open it. I am running it on a Windows 10 20.04 machine, and I have already tried reinstalling the app. I really need access to the VPN because I'm on public wifi, and would prefer my work to be encrypted. Please help!

To explain how it is crashing, I will click the app to open it, and it will show in the icon tray for a second and then disappear.

reset the VPN by navigating to your %AppData% folder, finding Mozilla, and then deleting the Mozilla VPN folder inside it. Then redownload and reinstall the VPN and it should work.

I kept rebooting, then reinstalling, and it still doesn't fix the issue.

Was having the same problem until I read this thread. I went to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Mozilla and deleted the FirefoxVpn folder, then started the Mozilla VPN app and it started back working. Didn't have to re-download.
