Whenever I go to download an extension/add-on over addons.mozilla.org, none of the things that i click "Download" actually download

I keep trying to download extensions like adblockers and popup blockers but whenever i click the "add to firefox" button, it just keeps loading like the image below, and not actually downloading anything

Right-click and select Save As. Open the folder where the file was saved to. Holding down the left button on the file, drop it into the Firefox window.
