Two copies of TB seem to be installed
Today I was using the "geek" uninstaller application to remove some old software from my laptop;
It reported that I have two versions:
TB 45.4.0 AND TB 60.8.0 and it reports that they are both in the same directory. A different updater/uninstaller, called PatchMyPC reports the same information.
I only see one copy of this file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe
and it is the later version.
So, what is causing this situation, and will it cause some trouble?
I notice that everything in the Mozilla Thunderbird directory is dated July 16, 2019 except for three subdirectories, which are dated October 4, 2016; those are named "chrome", "defaults", "distribution"
Thank you for any explanation and suggestions on how to clean this up. I should say that TB does seem to be working OK.

the best advice is do not look at the windows installer lists. It will always have more than one version and uninstalling one will remove the program, but not fix the remaining entry.
OK, although it does seem weird to have more than one version. I thought it might be as simple as an outdated entry in the Win 7 Registry. Thank you.
It is as simple as an outdated registry entry. But I have no idea what entry.
