SteamVR keeps popping up with certain sites on Firefox

A number of different sites (ex: CNN, okcupid, etc;) trigger my SteamVR app to automatically open. It's been happening since the latest update to Firefox.

As long as I'm on the site, I can close the SteamVR app but it keeps popping back up.

Would you check this :

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference : dom.vr.openvr.enabled Its value should be set to false (default)

Okay, thanks, disabling that and some of the other VR settings helped.
