I went to the import export tab on my old computer which supposedly had the latest version of Firefox. I chose export all and it created a TGZ file. Now I can't figure out how to import it into the new Windows 10 version on my new computer

Chosen solution

Copy the Firefox user profiles folder 'as is' to a thumb drive. Example; C:\Users\==<UserName>=\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Firefox does not have an export all option, but you seem to be talking about that as an option on your old computer. Is that related to Firefox ?

You can not (easily) just archive and export all of Firefox's settings and program files if that is what you were attempting to do.

If you are trying to migrate Firefox from an old to a new computer do you still have the old computer and is it fully functional ? If not what do you have ?

My apologies to the group. I was in my email program which runs under Firefox. All is well. I am migrating to a new computer and wanted to transfer everything. I setup an account with Firefox and did the sync and it has now straightened everything out.

Happy Camper.
