hotmail email doesn't load in thunderbird

Thunderbird, doesn't load the e mail from this adress. Online (smartphone, true=www.hotmail.com) it is no problem, but when we try trough thunderbird , only the really old mails (2011) load in, the rest doesn't. pls restore or give me advice that a none IT can understand. thx

have you allowed all your old mail to download so it get to new mail?
