I received an email from Monzilla , informing me that a device had been added to my account. ? Prior to this while I was browsing a synch error appeard requisting that I sign in , which I did . Question : was that interpreted as adding another device ? I am concerned as I only use one device a desktop

Sorry, Sync is not intended to be used with one device as a backup medium. It is not a "cloud" for data storage as has become popular in recent years. Sync has been around since 2008, long before "cloud computing" came into vogue.

To answer your question - yes, manually signing in to Sync could be interpreted as adding a new device under certain circumstances.

Sorry, Sync is not intended to be used with one device as a backup medium. It is not a "cloud" for data storage as has become popular in recent years. Sync has been around since 2008, long before "cloud computing" came into vogue.
