How do I change my return receipt message note?

This is what the customer receives when I let them know their message was read:

Note: This Return Receipt only acknowledges that the message was displayed on the recipient’s computer. There is no guarantee that the recipient has read or understood the message contents.

Is there a way to change that?

Thank you!

Are you talking about Return Receipt or Out of Office reply?

I'm wondering why you'd want to send such a message back to the sender in the first place. In other words, what's the benefit for your customer to receive such a message compared to not getting back that message at all?

Thank you for your reply. I'm talking about the return receipt message that goes back when someone asks if you read their message.

It puts that note with the disclaimer "This is a return receipt for the mail that was sent to....."

A return receipt isn't an actual message going back. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Figuring_out_whether_the_recipient_read_your_message

So what are you talking about? To me it still sounds like an Out Of Office reply, but it's beyond me why you'd want to send such a message. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/vacation-response

He is saying that when he gets a return receipt request and he acknowledges it the above quoted text is sent from him back to the sender. I have never found where this response text is stored and do not know if you can edit it. Logic would say it is there somewhere but how do you find and change it?
