VPN blocking all access to Internet starting on evening of 7/11/2026
Today (7/11/26) Mozilla VPN began blocking all access to the Internet. When I turn it off, I can connect. When I turn it on, I can't. Am I the only one? So far I have:
- Reset the app
- Uninstalled all WAN network adapters and restarted (I notice for the first time that Mozilla Tunnel appears in the list after doing this)
It is interesting to note that Proton free VPN which I installed as an experiment, and ran with Mozilla VPN entirely off (system tray quit as well) also blocks all Internet traffic. So it could be one of those Windows update issues. This afternoon, all was well. I turned off my machine, turned it back on, and no browsing can happen with either VPN on.
Normally, Mozilla VPN works flawlessly, so I have no complaints--it's only a technical mystery to unravel.
