i can see the video detected but when i click on the blue download button it says sadly we failed at downloading that specific video. It does this for youtube videos no matter how many times i try it. i never had this problem before and it seemed to have started in may of 2026

I frequently watch BBC videos but approx one week ago, they stopped playing. I have your VPN which is usually off as it give me no advantage, (this appeared following the last update), but I've tried switching on and changing to UK location. No change.

At the last FF update, I discovered that I had VPN on my top status bar but what does it do?

I have v. 150.0.1 (64 bit). Also Windows 11. I live in France and the only reason to use a VPN is to watch a UK soap which I cannot watch by any other means unless it's live on the TV. I know how to turn it on (obvious), so when I use the BBC website, this is what I do. But it makes not the slightest bit of difference as I am still recognised as being outside the UK.

Am I not doing something please?

I installed the English (US) dictionary add-ons from Mozilla Add-ons (English-US Dictionary and US English Dictionary). Firefox confirms they are installed and shows a “Remove” option, but they do not appear in about:addons under Dictionaries or Extensions. Additionally, the dictionary features are not working on webpages—there is no “define” option on text selection, and no dictionary/lookup functionality appears even after double-clicking words or using context menu options. The add-ons only appear as installed on their web pages.

Expected behavior: Installed dictionaries should be visible in about:addons and provide word lookup/definition functionality in the browser. Actual behavior: Add-ons are not listed in about:addons and provide no visible or usable dictionary features on webpages.

I was receiving Directv content on Mozilla Firefox for months without issue. Suddenly it stopped completely and left a message "We couldn't play this content at this time". I don't understand why this happened or how to fix it. I want to do all my browsing with Mozilla Firefox so I need help. It would be truly excellent if I could speak to a human about this issue. By the answer, I lost any support about trouble shooting.

I ask questions. Have Firefox development team previously confirmed that it works? Does you have Bugzilla ID about functionality check with passkeys in Microsoft password manager or something like it?

When i start fire fox it immediately opens 10 additional versions in the background which I can see in task manager and they take up a lot off memory. If i end task them they immediately come back. This only started recently. I noticed it because now when i open say a youtube video it shows it as number 4. This never happened before unless I had the same video open more than once.

If I can not stop this I will have to uninstall.

Hi there. Ian here. My home page "www.news.com.au" keeps wanting to lock me out due to apparent addblockers on my PC. I am not aware of any that I have installed and can't find a way to remove them or turn them off. I am also not sure if this is a healthy consideration in any case. Can you Help me please.

The new Firefox built-in VPN, rolled out to Australia this week, is not redirecting to the chosen country location.

Despite selecting either US or UK in the country list, websites are still identifying me as located in Australia.

For example, despite VPN being on and US selected, cunard.com still redirects me to my home location of Australia (see https://www.cunard.com/en-au in address bar). Screenshot attached. Other websites similar.

When I clicked a link, it would open in a new window. Now it only opens in a new tap. I need it to open in a new window.

I'm currently trying to use Firefox due to issues with Google Chrome on Microsoft but as I use eBay for selling items I normally copy and paste to my multiple items selling but as I try to paste something to my ad I see no paste feature on the list of options?. Why can't I use paste on Firefox?. Thanks

Recently, I've noticed that, when I Google something, and it shows those AI-created drop-down options (highlit on the screenshot), clicking on the drop down arrow does nothing; no error, no "dropping down", nothing.
