Every time I close and reopen the browser (and then check the Process Manager), all my pinned tabs are there and taking 20-30 megabytes each while I didn't click on them and they're supposed to be unloaded after startup

None of the unpinned tabs are in the Process Manager

How do i stop this?

Hello, Here's a solution that could possibly fix it. Go to about:processes then use about:memory and select Minimize memory usage Enable lazy loading by going to about:config then set (browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand to true).

lazy loading already enabled; minimizing memory usage didn't do anything;

is there a fix that actually unloads the tabs from memory? i.e so that the tab doesn't take *any* memory because it is a *stored link* and doesn't need to have anything loaded

All tabs require a small amount of memory, to keep essential site structure loaded. If not, it is like closing a tab.
