Can't attach Files to emails
I have Flathub version of Thunderbird installed on Fedora Linux. I am sure I used to be able to do this but I can't now. If i try to drag a file like a jpg over an email I am drafting, it used to append or attach. Now, regardless of which I choose it wont work. If I choose inline I just get a text link. If I choose attachment, it attaches an empty file showing 0 bytes. The only way i can get it to work is to use the paperclip icon and go find the file but thats too cumbersome.

That sounds like some form of Linux sand boxing to me. Drag and drop being separately provisioned for security.

It sounds reasonable to me, not being on Linux or using flatpak I can only look to the logic, not the application of it.
