How do I stop thunderbird from trying to look up my disconnected vodaphone email now that i am with another ISP ?
I am with a new ISP and have an email from them; my old ISP has cancelled its email but everytime I open thunderbird it tries to connect to the old one and a pop-up appears saying it can't connect- how do I stop it happening? The new email works fine I just need to remove the old details/connection

Are there still messages in the old account you want to keep?
If not, you can simply delete the old account.
If yes, what's the account type - POP or IMAP?

But how do I delete the old account?
Select the account, click the button right down at the bottom.
That will give you an option to remove the account.
