When I access to the MS skydrive site, and I click to select a file to upload, the CPU hangs up. This only occurs using Firefox.

I'm using a Toshiba 64bits and Win 7 64bits.

It is possible the this website is using a plugin like Silverlight to do the uploading.

Do you otherwise have problems with plugins?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
