I'm trying to sync my DuckDuck Go (DDG) search engine and Firefox data to a new pc. I haven't used or reset my Firefox password since (it looks like) 2014. When I tried to change my password, it required me to enter my old password, which if I knew it... So, I tried "forgot password" and it asks me for my many symbol/digit passkey - also which I don't know. But I'm in all my accounts on phone, tablet, and pc running Ws 10. But I need to switch full time to Ws 11. Please help.

If you have the data elsewhere, and you're fine with the Sync account being wiped clean, you can reset your password even without the recovery key, via email confirmation — but make sure you keep all your profile data backed up elsewhere manually in advance — as that step removes any previous data stored.
