The last few months, while trying to use facebook, I've experienced issues with the browser "not being supported" within games, trying to load videos, following links. Is there something on my settings wrong, or is it an issue between facebook's coding and the browsers coding?

Are you possibly using a proxy or VPN to connect to internet ?

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
