since Ver 84 update , when you want to edit a bookmarks , the alignment in the middle of the bookmarks name and the name is highlighted for some reason. did anyone notes and how i can put it back to normal as i do edit a lot of my bookmarks and i usually just add the date in front of the name ( the name is way longer than the screen shot i attached ) the cursor is at the end of the name field, it used to be at the binging of the name field like any other browser ( edge of chrome)

Are you possibly using userChrome.css ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I think it's normal for Firefox to select text box contents when the cursor moves into them, but perhaps I'm forgetting an older design. You can tap the Home key, left arrow key, or up arrow key to move the cursor to the beginning of the line, whichever you find least inconvenient or most intuitive.

Thanks , I'm doing that now (left or up arrow key) , the issue start with Ver 84 , and its not just the selection , the cursor is at the end of the name field, it used to be at the binging of the name field like any other browser ( edge of chrome) If you want to test it save any website with a long name , and then try to edit it , and you will see the difference between Firefox and other browsers
