I just purchased this laptop, supposedly running W11. Since installing FF on it, I have been having two windows open. The first is listed as original profile. Either a few seconds later or some time later, another window opens. With it, a VPN opens. The best I can tell, the original profile may or may not have a VPN open.

I actually prefer the second one, since it is most like the W10 FF I had. The original is blank except for the FF search window.

Why is this happening?

Also, please be patient and treat me like a newbie. It took a long time for me to get W10 and this is completely new to me. Even basic things are taking time to find now.

I know this is probably impossible to restore but I might as well ask, No I do not have backuped files on my computer, I already have the username, I was just going to ask if there was a way I can find the password for the account. I understand if that is a impossible task so thanks either way if you cannot help with my problem.

REPEATING IMAGES involving . Macbook Air M4 Tahoe 26.2

When sliding from the primary Mac screen to another on the same computer the Firefox image (and ONLY that image) is duplicated on each additional screen image loaded making the use of multiple screens virtually useless.

Is it possible to hide the green "New" label next to new features, such as the current "Add Split View" example? There should be an option for the label to be automatically removed once the feature has been used at least once.

I am receiving "The page isn't redirecting properly - Firefox can't connect to server" error messages. This happens on nearly every website repeatedly for the last six? weeks. It does not happen in other browsers i.e. Chrome. I click the "Try Again" button in the Firefox error msg popup window over and over, 3-14+ times, to get past the error msg and access the site. When I try to login to many sites I am kicked out to the same error msg. Also kicked out of sites randomly when trying to navigate to another page on the same site. I had Claude AI take me step-by-step through all of the trouble shooting and adjustments to various settings. All of my extensions are off. I have had my ISP re-initialize my modem and I've run antivirus scans, still the problem persists. (Strangely YouTube does not have these problems) I love Firefox. I've got it setup just the way I like it. I have been using it for 20 years and during those two decades Firefox has been stable and had only minor glitches. I do not want to change my browser. Chrome feels clunky to me. I'm attaching three representative screen captures of the error msgs. Looking forward to anyone's help.

I want to delete Preview Links. I tried going to Settings>General>Browsing, however, there is no "Browsing" section. I have a Linux Mint. I do NOT want Preview Links. Thank you.

I have a Firefox account. I am logged into my Firefox account on both my desktop and mobile phone. I want to sync them. I cannot do it. I press the three horizontal bars and it does not work.

Default homepage is yahoo. Since the update to version 149, if I do a search from yahoo, the new tab that opens with the search result is blank most of the time. I have to click reload for the search results to show up.

Is anybody else having that problem? Seems to be yahoo search specific but not 100% sure.

I use Firefox on a Macbook, and occasionally on my IPhone SE. I have no sense of what 50GB of web browsing means. I play episodes of French in Action from Learner.org. Very occasionally stream movies.

After about 20 days since installation, I have 27GB left.

when i download a pdf file, it auto opens on a new tab. i dont want it to auto open. for it to not auto open i have to explictly click on the downloading file, i couldn't find a settings in the settings menu to stop auto opening.

Greetings! I've been a Firefox evangelist for a long time! I'm having issue with my Dell Precision 5530 pushing Firefox audio to a Bluetooth speaker connected to PC. Others browsers work fine, however FF wants to use the speakers on my monitor, connected via HDMI. I've tried to change several times, however FF does not want to use the BT.

Mac Tahoe 26.4. Any attempt to download or upload results in a file chooser/picker/browser panel that shows part of the finder interface but not all. Can't interact with it besides switching between sidebar items, no files visible, can't close or exit this window, can't interact with anything else. The only active button on the top of the window is the fullscreen button. Have to force quit firefox every time.

I tried troubleshoot mode and it did nothing. There is a workaround for some download links where I can open them in another tab and they automatically download without opening the window. Drag and drop options seem to work for uploads when they're available.

I took screenshots and was going to attach them, but this problem prevents me from doing that. This browser's sorta bricked for me at the moment.

It's checked in settings, the US english language pack is installed, I did the about:config thing as well and it's still not working. Oh yeah, also used troubleshoot mode - turned off all addons - and still doesn't work.

I was gifted with the latest upgrade, and all of my passwords and bookmarks have been lost. I signed in with both of my primary emails, and both are acting as if they are new accounts.
