Firefox fails to obey OS-defined DNS and instead overrides this to use …….Cloudflare? Are you nuts?

Whoever told you Cloudflare is private or secure failed to educate you on Surveillance Capitalism.

For the love of all that is good in this world, rekey Firefox to allow user-defined DNS- whether that is through DHCP, manual config or a management profile.

I was trying to download Firefox and was unable . It sent up an error message and said my download was interrupted. Then prompted me to go to the App Store to download . This was unsuccessful as well and takes me in a circle getting nowhere . I ended up here after selecting the need more help signing in option .and following the prompts .

I think that I may have mistakenly check the box to use WWPass Key to open the mobile app b/c now I cannot open the mobile app at all. Is there a way I can alter the way my mobile firefox app opens? Links on iPhone open in new tab that has to be closed rather than return using back navigation. I saw bug reports about this, but they affect iPad users with keyboard while I have vanilla iPhone. The same happens on Vivaldi so IMHO this is underlying iOS browser engine bug affecting all custom browsers.
