download file is too long to open

Hi there, In my experience, this is usually caused by antivirus software, usually they inspect files on the fly after opening them, which may cause slowdowns (especially for large archives). Do you use any antivirus? You might try to disable it temporarily and check with a known safe file that wasn't opened since the last restart. But this should only happen once, is it still slow the second time? That might help narrowing down the problem. Regards, Balázs
