I just lost ALL my open tabs AGAIN!!!
I just lost ALL my open tabs AGAIN!!! This's the 3rd time !!!!! Restore previous tabs IS NOT IN THE Menu > History AGAIN per Mozilla's method!! Frankly, I'm tired & overwrought this keeps happening WHEN IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO!!
Now what cor-el?? I certainly hope you've a corrective answer. dCβ (;>{

Hi,
We're sorry to hear that, but please stay calm. The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me or cor-el), not Mozilla employees or developers.
Generally, even if the "Restore previous tabs" option is unavailable, you should still be able to manually restore your session from backup as described in this article. Of course, feel free to skip the first step if you've already tried it.
Also, I'd recommend avoiding restarting Firefox unnecessarily to keep fresher backups.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Mozilla.Firefox no worky! I see this largely in the communication skills of technical support individuals - they know what they're talking 'bout but the un-technical user, as my self, doesn't.
The link (this article) & directions at How to restore a browsing session from backup are confusing 'cause they're not PRECISE. I don't even know if they're accurate either. E.G., What / Where is the location bar?
Also, I'm sorry to hear that, ... too but I shouldn't & can't please stay calm 'cause this's happened 3X B4 and now again!
Directions(s) to resolve the problem are nebulous & too technical. Must pay attention to the audience.
Strongly considering going to Duck Duck Go browser now esp. since your chastising. dCβ
E.G., What / Where is the location bar?
Oh, thanks for spotting that! Should be "address bar" instead (which is the field where you see website addresses at the top of the screen, right under the tab strip). I've submitted a revision to correct that. So, just enter about:sessionrestore in the address bar and press Enter. (I'm not sure this particular step will help you, though.)
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Mozilla.Firefox no worky!
What exactly do you mean by that?
I'll be happy to answer any particular questions you have about the steps described in the article.
