Good Day.

I have encountered a problem recently with on particular forum site.

When I attempt to login I receive an error after pressing the submit button. 

The form displays this error "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

I have been using the site regulary for several years and have never had this problem

The following is what I am using:

    Firefox ver 153.0.1 64 bit
    Windows 10 and/or Windows 10 (yes this is happening on all 3 of my PCs)

The forum site is using phpBB Forum Software. I do not know the version. As stated above they have been using this software for several years.

In trouble shooting this issue I have discovered that if I do the following in the specified order I can login and create and respond to posts and Private Messages. But as soon as I log out I receive the invalid form message until I do the following steps again.

            1) Clear all cookies, temporary cache, site settings, browsing and download history, site settings
               and saved form info.
            2) Shutdown Firefox 
            3) Navigate to my profile with Windows Explorer 
            4) Delete the file cookies.sqlite

I must do this each and every time I access the site.

I am at a loss as to what to do about this. Does Firefox have any error logs or console logs? If so how can I enable them to see if I can get a better idea of what is happening?

you have to delete over 5 times to get history and cookies to clear. Selecting "everything" never removes everything :( Used to be the best for privacy now its seemingly deceptive..

The mouse cursor does not highlight text in the address bar. It is selecting the text but the blue 'select' highlight doesn't show so I'm working blind. Firefox 154.0b5 Build ID: 20260731090442 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Home 25H2. Build 26200.8875 Tested in troubleshoot mode - same issue.

No point adding screenshots to show an invisible select highlight.  :-)

For the past few days, the text in the address bar can no longer be selected or edited using the mouse or keyboard. The “Customize Toolbar” option does not allow you to remove the address bar from the toolbar.

Unfortunately, compatibility mode doesn't help here either. The problem isn't caused by a plugin.

Is there any way to fix this without losing all my Firefox settings and add-ons? I'm hesitant to try repairing Firefox.

Windows 11 Pro 25H2 64-Bit/Firefox 154.0b5 (64-Bit)

Since one of the latest updates, Firefox keeps randomly showing me a popup saying "pin this tab", pointing to a tab I just opened. I close it with its X button, but after a while it just pops up again. I don't want to pin a tab, ever - I have bookmarks for a reason and I don't see any point in this feature. How do I stop this incredibly annoying popup from bugging me constantly to do something I never want to do?

from the firefox desktop I cannot go to the selected web site nothing happens. But edge works normally I find that my memorised passwords do not work unless I use EDGE I am forced to enter the address of the web site manually but then I am not recognised as a regular client and have to my password safe but the passwords there do not match the current password for the site. Going back to EDGE removes the problems In desperation I thought I would uninstall EDGE but cannot all I can do is modify it which means refreshing it. What can I do ps I am using windows 10

Hi, Check out the attached screenshot. This is the image FF saves when a user does the following action on any page: Take screenshot > Save full page

I have almost 20 such screenshots where the Google AI answers are overlapping and certain areas of the screenshot are overlapping and cut off (in the attached screenshot, the Step-by-Step points number 2 and 3 for Fluffy Breakfast Pancakes is cut off). Really annoying. I would appreciate the concerned team taking a look and a fix for this.

To recreate: Ask Google AI anything (this is the Google AI that you get to from the google.com homepage by clicking the AI Mode button) and make sure the answer require some scrolling. Then right-click and Take Screenshot > Save full page. Overlapping/cut off screenshot is saved. Thanks

now using 153.0.1 from old 140.13.0 but i do not see a home page icon so i can go back to the home page after visiting a web site such as facebook, etc. in settings i have Firefox set as default, but still do not see the little house icon for going to home page. How do I get the home page icon to appear somewhere with 153.0.1

When a piece of text is drag-and-dropped onto FF, FF navigates to that text. So, when I am filling a form and accidentally drop the text outside a text field, FF navigates away from the page with the form I am trying to fill. I have been using FF for more than 10 years and never found this behavior to be useful. Only annoying and counter productive. If FF at least opened a new tab, I could close it and not lose the work done so far. But ideally there would be no navigation at all. Dropping a piece of text on a webpage should not trigger any navigation. I need a setting to disable that behavior completely. PLEASE!!! 🙏

The new Pop Up in Firefox that asks me to choose how to open the link I want tosend to share with a relative, or a friend is driving me crazy. I'm 82 years old, I'm legally blind now and this new POP UP has to be disabled or eliminated somehow. I've searched instructions on YouTube and triedd under Privacy & Security, Permissions and disabled PopUps BUT The new Pop Up in Firefox is till functioning. Please may I give you permissiontoremove it in my account!!!! Please could you do thatforme because I'vetried every suggesion ad I can'tseemto disableit or removeit.
