How to prevent tab groups from being deleted

Could you please share some more details about what's happening? When do your tab groups get deleted?

If I inadvertently delete the Firefox page rather than quit Firefox I lose all my tab groups. How to I get my tab groups back other than save the tabs individually. I realise that I must not delete the Firefox page but it happens.

I have the same issue. I love the idea of tab groups HOWEVER I collected a bunch of research in a tab group. I am 100% certain that I saved and closed the group but it was just gone from the tab group list, as was my work tabs which I had also made into a group and another one I had created for hobby things. All my tabs are gone and this is extremely frustrating.
