can't install thunderbird

trying to install thunderbird on a new laptop. got the donation screen, donated. got the thank you screen, it says carry on and complete installation but there is nothing to install, no files downloaded and everything takes me back to the first screen and the thank you screen. I'm getting to the point of taking my donation back and just sticking with outlook!!!

try again and ignore the donation screen. That appears to interrupt some downloads.
