have you tried looking in your downloads folder for the installer you have downloaded. Thunderbird is an application you have to install, not some web page or the like that just appears when you click the download link like in the app stores.

Hi Matt, yes first thing I did was look in the download folder. I have no download as Ive never been able to actually cick on a download link without going back to the same donations page and then a thank you page which has no usable link on it. I'll try again today.

finally found a working download link on a diferent page! Now up and running again. thanks.
