Deleted emails become undeleted

I am finding that emails that have been deleted reappear a few days later. I have numerous subfolders under 'Inbox' and this mysterious reappearance happends within individual subfolders. thanx

What are your account Server Settings > When I delete a message settings? Are deleted messages supposed to be moved to Bin/Trash? Do they really get moved there when deleted according to your settings? Do they still appear in Bin/Trash when they reappear in their original folders?
