I've received notifications from Mozilla stating my Mozilla account was used to sign in. Info posted in email states it was Firefox on Windows 10. My city and state accurate. Day, date, and time is ok. I've been using windows 11 for some time now. How can i trust Mozilla, if they can not detect the right windows version?

I'm receiving threats & reports of virus's, reports of me watching porn? That's SICK! I WOULD NEVER do that! I had it happen over a year ago, traced it back to a Guardi something. They may have come back! They are disruptive, aggressive & cruel! I'm an 86 yo, disabled widow & I am very concerned!

Dear Mozilla Support Team, I am reporting a security concern regarding my Mozilla account. I received two emails from Mozilla indicating account activity that I did not initiate. The notifications showed a login/account access attempt from a Windows 10 device in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, on Monday, 27 July 2026. I did not perform this login or authorise anyone else to access my account. I am concerned that someone may have gained access to my account without my permission, and I would like to understand how this happened and what steps I should take to secure my account. Please help me with the following: Confirm whether the login activity was successful or only an attempt. Provide any available details about the access (such as device, location, or method used). Advise me on additional steps to protect my account. I have already changed my password and will enable two-factor authentication if it is not already active. Iam getting statements saying someone living in same town as I getting on my account with a Linux or android what is Linux representing and when they say android with one ?? I have 3 different thing's i use but I never use a computer. Lap top or desk type???.

This is after setting FF as default again (3rd time today). Got into this problem trying to report that FF behaves differently when using W11 HOME vs PRO. Don't know when this started. This system has been a "home" system from day 1. When I go check defaults with W11, (only O/S on this laptop) it shows that FF is the default browser for many things.

But if I do an update, or have to do a reboot, first time started, it wants to be made the default *again*.

NOTE: Mozilla sent the above email to me that this is FF on Windows 10. This is W11 HOME, not 10.

I used to ignore these, but today I clicked through to see the extended code and it looks like the unauthorization was to log into my bank account at CHASE, which is concerning. I have a separate login, not an automatic one. I someone trying to get into my bank account?

I purchased mozilla vpn. It worked fine for months until a few days ago. Now I can't use the internet at all without turning it off. With the purchased version off I turned on the vpn in the firefox browser. This seems to work fine but it is only in used within the browser. The ;purchased browser is installed on my Iphone and my Mac laptop. Same problem with both. I also received an email a day or so after the trouble started saying my password for Mozilla had been changed. I did not aske for this change. Since my internet access was shut off I couldn't initiate a change of my own. It took me another day to figure out my problem was the browser. At that point I changed my Mozilla login password. I wpou;ld ;like top keep usiong the purchased version of the mozilla vpn on both my laptop and my iphone (13) because it looks more thoroughly at data going in and out of my devices.

I believe I was hacked into. One minute I'm signed in the next minute after I leave a site I am being asked to sign back in again and again. This time someone is changing my sign in credentials.why??
