So I just upgraded my pc and it bricked my windows and to reinstall, I forgot to save the Firefox data before doing so because I thought it wouldn't cause any issue, well, now all my bookmarks etc. are gone and I'm wondering if there is some sort of backup somewhere saved by Mozilla in the cloud.

My Firefox account data seem to have ben ALL deleted after a regular computer restart. There are no backups in the Firefox profile folder either. Years worth of passwords, bookmarks, tabs ALL GONE. After computer restart, when I was restarting Firefox, I vaguely remember a prompt on the screen that Firefox servers don't contain any data for my profile anymore. How could this have been brought on by a computer restart though?Any ideas what is the problem here, and how to recover my profile data? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hello- Am having trouble with my settings( I think) Want to be sure Firefox is default browser, and use Adobe Reader as my PDF default. All I get is "download Firefox" ! Get all regular updates, so why can't I see "settings" ? Thank you

I want to import my Chrome bookmarks into Firefox but I keep getting asked for my keychain password. I've tried my Apple I’d password and my Firefox account password. Neither works.

I've had a problem for a while where Firefox tells me "Firefox is being updated by another instance" and the only way I've been able to get updates is by using the installer.

In my attempts to resolve this, I learned of the `about:profiles`. I have never set up profiles so I figures I should only have the 1 default profile but it turns out I have `default`, `default-release`, default-release-1`, and `default-release-2`.

Of these profiles, the `default-release` is the 1 that has my data while it is `default-release-1` that is able to update.

I would like to make it so that I only have 1 profile that has all of my data AND is able to update.

I already tried removing all the profiles accept the one with my data but that leaves Firefox unable to update. I restored all the profiles I removed and I am back to where I started.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have always accessed my LinkedIn account on Firefox. Suddenly today, my PW does not work, and my email address for PW reset does not return a PW reset link. Cleared cache without success. I can access LinkedIn on Chrome. Can you suggest what I have done to my Firefox to cause this? Thanks!

I've installed the 10.5.x version of Network on my Ubiquiti Gateway. I now have a problem accessing the gateway. However, this is weird. When on the local network, I can connect directly to it, no problem. Where the problem comes in is when I try to connect to it via unifi.ui.com, the web portal that Unifi Gateways connect to. I've tried a Private Window which is set to not enable any extensions. The results are the same. It will sometimes load part of the page, but never all of it. Before the v10.5.x Network Application update, this was not a problem. I've tried this on both a Windows 10 & Windows 11 computer with the same results. Everything works if I'm not trying to connect via the web portal from the local network. (i.e. If I'm elsewhere or use my cellphone's hot spot, I can connect to my gateway via the web portal without any issues.)

I would blame the Network Application update as the problem if it wasn't for one detail. It does work from the local network if I use MS Edge instead of Firefox. So, I suspect that while there was a change made in this update, there is also something that Firefox is blocking that Edge isn't.

Any ideas?

This problem has never happened before. This happened in the last few minutes. The whole screen suddenly went blank while I was trying to find out today's weather. I am suspicious of malicious interference with my computer. Any help you can give me will be reassuring.

Hi all, I've been experiencing an issue with the file picker. I'm not sure why, but when a website says "click to upload" and I click it, nothing happens, although drag and drop still works. Also, I can't download anything as when I click "save as" nothing happens? I'm using arch linux and bspwm window manager if that helps. Any help is much appreciated :D

is it possible to get a button or a shortcut to toggle the option full-screen-api.ignore-widgets without using about:config? An addon is not possible I guess because it is an internal option addons shouldn't have access to this.
