I cannot open a new tab. I've tried pressing on the plus sign on the right-hand-side of the the current tab and I've also tried Ctrl+T. Nothing works. If I want another site, I have to open a brand new window.

Please advise.

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
