I have a copy of my latest profile. How do I use it on a new computer that I just installed Firefox on!

I purchased a new computer and installed Firefox on it when I open Firefox for the first time it had none of my bookmarks, etc. As per the instructions on the Webb, I copied the latest profile for Firefox on my old computer and pasted that profile into the users profile folder on the new computer. For some unknown reason, Firefox is not installing this profile. The profile is approximately 330 MB. So I’m assuming there is a lot of data that is stored in that profile folder. Can you please direct me as to how I can use the current Firefox profile that I have from 8-4-26. Thank you

Move a profile

To copy all of your Firefox data and settings to another Firefox installation (for example, when you get a new computer), you can make a backup of your Firefox profile, then restore it in your new location.

Have You used the profile backup tool to get your profile? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
