Reason for disabling the 600% Volume Extension

I am wondering what was the exact reason for disabling the 600% volume extension.

Should the users be worried about credential theft or was the extension injecting affiliate links?

I would assume they are doing something wrong, but they are still in the chrome store. On their site it looks chrome only. You should ping them with questions. https://extaddon.site/600-sound-volume/

Yeah I am guessing it is has to do with affiliate links and ad popups that were blocked by adblockers anyhow. It would have been good to get a proper explanation from Firefox though (in case it was something more serious).
