Hey,

I have a problem with firefox, i'm using a MacBookPro2012 with Ubuntu 18.04. It wont start at all, not even in save mode (without extensions). I tried to deinstall it several times, but after the reinstallation it keeps crashing.

That's was the crash report says. I don't know what to do, can anybody help out?

Is this with the Mac system, or the Ubuntu, or both?

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>.

Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Please, Do not post a screenshot ! !

Let's find out what the problem is first. What about the crash report listings?

I found another user (also Ubuntu 18.04, with the same problem, and the same crash report). So it could be a broader issue. And whats interesting is, this person is also using a MacbookPro2012. Maybee with this combination something went wrong. But at this point I have no clue what to do and how to fix.

Update:

I updated Ubuntu to 20.04.2, the problem with firefox still persists

This is a problem with the color profile of your display monitor that is either too large (OOB) or incompatible with Firefox.

There is a bug report about this issue, fixed for 88 and approved for 87.0b3 (current beta should have it).
