I have a business and this is my only email for it, i often have to contact customers but get so many emails saying they havent recieved my emails, ive then had to try ring them or contact them with my normal email which works fine, what is it with mozilla that means so many people dont recieve my emails? and what can i do?

Do the messages appear in your Sent folder? If so, that's a pretty good sign that Thunderbird sent them, and the problem lies elsewhere, possibly with your email provider or ISP being on a spam blacklist.

Have your correspondents looked into their spam or quarantine folders?

If the mail service provided by your webhost is unreliable, consider getting a gmail or outlook.com account, and then add your business email address to the account so you can send through the (gmail or outlook) smtp server, but the recipients will still see your business email as the 'sender'.
